Today around 12, I got a phone call from a cafe for interview and tryout.
It was a small cafe, just opened 3 weeks ago, but looked very nice and just like my dream coffee shop. My job was cleaning the kitchen before close, and after close, helping to do some paper works with owner. The owner was called Anna, and there was a chef from Thai, whose name was too difficult to remember. They were very nice to me, taught me how to do everything. The kitchen was very small, and the work wasn't heavy at all, compared with the work I did in Kuranda. What struck me the most was that Anna paid me this tryout, so I got 15 bucks for 1.5 hours ! Then I realized there really was a big difference between Aussie and Asian boss. On my way home, I so hope I can be hired.
Went Darling Harbour again for fireworks tonight. This time we sat at the riverside instead of standing on the bridge. The fireworks were so close, so glittery, so unreal. I didn't go to night club with Audrey afterwards. Not in mood for dancing. Tired. Even I know she is gonna leave Sydney soon.
